All the Virtuous Words

Have you ever used the word virtue in a sentence? Did you have to Google the meaning, or did you reach for your dictionary in your office? If you did, I don’t blame you, I know I did.



Nowadays, there’s a trend of acronyms or empty words becoming popular in our everyday speech. There’s a tendency of throwing these fashionable words around without consideration of their effect on others. We’ve become lazy in our word choices and forget how powerful they can be.



It’s hard sometimes to keep up with all those WORDS. We get so busy with our daily lives trying to keep up with the kids, work, a pandemic, family, and friends, we can often forget our words and their meaning.



It is up to us to know the good, the bad, the happy and sadness of our words and their true meaning.



Who said words will never hurt you?



Innocent words are formed into sentences, turning into paragraphs, forming conversations, stories, and songs. All these forums have the capability of creating emotions of the listener.



The listener interprets words heard based on their life experiences.



So, ask yourself how do you feel about this word, virtue?



From my understanding of the word, I felt compelled to write the following in hopes it will be interpreted how the reader sees fit:
